Founder and CEO

Brett Kelly is the Founder and CEO of Kelly+Partners (ASX:KPG), professional speaker, and best-selling author of four books.

Brett holds a bachelor degree in Business and a Masters degree in taxation, is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent. He has more than twenty five years of commercial and professional accountancy experience. He specialises in assisting individuals and families who own private businesses.

Brett founded Kelly+Partners Chartered Accountants in 2006 and over 16 years has grown the business to become the private business specialist accounting network, 21st largest firm in Australia.

In June 2017, Kelly+Partners Group Holdings Limited listed on the Australia Stock Exchange (ASX).

Kelly+Partners has 75 equity Partners, employs over 400 team members and assists 14,000 Private Business Owners from 25 offices in Australia and Hong Kong.

Kelly+Partners philosophy is to make clients ‘Be Better Off’.

Inspirational and insightful, Brett has presented to over one thousand audiences ranging from the National Press Club in Canberra, to youth, business, community, sales and corporate groups. Brett is an excellent keynote speaker. He has the ability to captivate a wide range of audiences by making a potentially boring topic interesting, relevant and practical.

In 1997 At age 22, unemployed, with no money, journalistic experience, connections, or publisher, he picked himself up, interviewed 34 leading Australian achievers, including Bob Hawke, Malcolm Turnbull, Poppy King, Gerry Harvey, Kathryn Greiner, Ray Martin, Imelda Roche, Jeff Kennett, Pat O’Shane and Peter Brock – raised the funds, gathered the expertise to self-publish ‘Collective Wisdom’ in 1998 and made it a national best seller.

Each seven years subsequently Brett has published a book focused on growing in Wisdom:

Brett is married to Rebecca and they have three children – Thomas(17), Nicholas (15), and Audrey(10).
